Towne Line was highly recommended to us by a neighbor, and now I've become an advocate too. I am very satisifed with the work they've done on my Honda and my wife's Saturn. On 3 occasions they made fixes and didn't even charge me because they felt it was simple enough. When I leave my car there, Bill and Jim have been great about calling to explain their estimates and schedules, and have always finished the work on or ahead of time. They're also exceedingly patient in explaining technical details both before and after the work (and I tend to ask a lot questions). Their prices probably aren't the cheapest, but I always leave with confidence that they've done what needs to be done. I highly recommend them.

This shop is, above all, honest! Of all the repair shops dealt with, he is consistently honest in his assessment of how much work is involved, how much it will cost and when it will be done. And its done right the first time. Can't ask for better than that!

My wife's car threw a major breakdown in Lowell on a trip from Maine to Connecticut. My brother, who lives in Chelmsford, recommended Bill and company. They handled the repairs in the most professional way I've ever seen. Very good communication, as much detail as I requested, laid out all options with prices, tested and prepped the car for me to show up and drive it back to Maine. They even followed up a week later with a phone call to see how it ran. That's darn good business in my opinion.

Bill and crew are great. They are very couretous and professional. They have never been condescending or have never made me feel stupid, even when I showed up with a car that hadn't had a oil change in 12,000 miles or when I showed up with no oil in my engine and a hood I couldn't get open (but the mechanic was able to open in 2 seconds).

Bill and Jimmy keep this place running top-notch. Never had any issues with the work they perform. They will always provide the old parts on request (and sometimes without request), explain what was done, and reassure you that they stand by their work. I've brought some "weird" problems to them, such as rebuilding a un-rebuildable Honda propeller shaft, and they went above and beyond to help me out. I've sent many friends and relatives to them and heard nothing but positive reviews. I'd trust these guys with my car ANY day of the week!
