Brian has been my mechanic (for everything I couldn't do myself) for several years. My experiences have always been as pleasant as possible when your car is broke! He will not bullshit about repairs - if he doesn't know he'll tell you, right away. His prices have always been very good, and he will always try to get you out of there spending only as much money as necessary( to complete the repair, not make hiss boat payment!) Case in point, when my Escort needed a new barometric pressure sensor, he got a known good sensor and tried it to see if it fixed the problem BEFORE he made me pay for it! He said that the computer told him it was broken, but that he had seen it so rarely that he wanted to be sure it wasn't something else! As a computer technician, I value that approach, and believe it to be the mark of a thinking man, as well as a fellow tech. He has dealt faithfully and uncomplainingly with my wife's ancient Volvo, and has always managed to keep it running at as low a cost as can be. Brian will continue to receive my repair business for as long as he (and his brother) continue to produce quality results. I don't know how he treats female patrons (matrons?) so I gave him a neutral rating.
