Turnpike Getty is a true gem in the rough. Its not a fancy shop but the mechanics are wonderful. They are super honest, fast, well priced, and very competent. They get it done right the first time. The owner is usually there as well and happy to help or take a look. Its the kind of place you can say "It makes this noise" and they'll be honest and tell you its a small thing and fix it for $10 if possible. I was very impressed with this shop and have since recommended it to my friends and family who also give it high acclaim. Its hard to find such genuine people in this industry. They also do inspections and other work.

I've taken my car to this station for oil changes and an inspection. Both times the shop was flexible with my drop off and pick up time. The oil change price was high but the overall service experience was good.

Amazing. Simply amazing. I had one estimate for work on a '91 Taurus for $975. There's was $550. They fixed the car fast. They had a similar car that they were about to junk. When evaluating the car, the asked if I "minded" them taking some stuff from the junker and place them on my car--stuff like hub caps and two tires that were in better shape than the ones I had. They phoned me twice to keep my informed. Simply wonderful.

Tony is a great mechanic. Very responsive to short notice problems. Always gives alternatives and prices. Makes honest recommendations. As an example, my daughter's 'check engine' light on her older Subaru indicated a PCV valve problem. He removed it, soaked it for two days, cleaned it and put it back on, saying "It will be fine." No charge.

Everyone in the shop, including the person behind the register, goes out of their way to make coming there a pleasant experience without hassle. I was even happily given a ride to work - twice - in the early morning after dropping my car off without extra charges. I recommend this place to everyone and is worth the ride out here if you're not close by. Honesty, Professional, and Prompt!

Tony has worked on my '93 Accord several times. For minor repairs he doesn't charge anything. For other repairs (like fixing AC to replacing brakes), he has always fixed it the first time. Earlier I used to shop around to compare the price. He turned out to be the cheapest, in some cases up to 50% cheaper than places like Midas. Now I trust him and don't need to get a second opinion. I highly recommend him.

The gas station is no longer a Getty station. It now belongs to a station with green and lime green colors. I was able to call in early(7:30am), reach a mechanic, describe my problem and come in on the spot without any prior interaction. Neil was quick(30 mins) and solved a problem that had confounded me ('95 Buick LaSabre)for the better part of a year at a small cost to my wallet. They are honest and responsive. Great work!
