I moved to the area and spent a couple years with 'other' mechanics before I found Colonial. And I'm glad I finally did. Thier slogan is "Your up front and honest mechanic". At first I was cautious, now I'm sold.

I have had them work on my wife's car and my car and on a regular basis. They do what they say, when they promise. THe shop is clean and well organized. I had a great shop for years, and I was reluctant to change. I am glad I did. My car has almost 140,000 miles on it, and it runs like a top. It's worth the drive if you don't live nearby. It is refreshing to find someone who really is up front and honest. One recent repair was done for $85.00. I had been quoted $175.00 by another "up front and honest" shop. Colonial is the only place I will bring my cars, even when I consider the excellent service the Saturn dealer always gave me.

I used Colonial Auto for nearly 20 years, as I worked nearby. I never worried about being charged for work that wasn't needed as they were most honest. If something didn't need to be replaced, they'd tell you and not do it/charge you for it. The shop was always cleaned and organized and they gave you immediate attention as soon as you walked into their shop. I did have a problem with a window not working properly after they repaired it and I brought it back in. They immediately looked at it, took the door panel off and fixed it. This was done with any hassle, delay or charge! Their prices are fair and I highly recommend Colonial Auto (and have to many people.) The only reason that I don't use them any more is that I my job changed and it's no longer convenient to travel there. You won't go wrong with Colonial Auto!

Dan & Brian are amazing! They've taken care of our cars for nearly 20 years and kept my 1990 Honda Civic going for 285,000 miles. They always try to find the most reasonably priced repair option and do the work well and promptly. They're reliable, friendly, and honest, and their prices are fair. They're straightforward with you if they think it's not worth fixing something. If they make a mistake, they don't try to hide it and will fix it at no extra charge. They treat their customers with respect, even for folks like us who are total doofuses about cars.
