Chet (and his assistant) are the most honest mechanics I've ever encountered. They REALLY know their stuff, do it the right way without cutting corners, and won't do anything unless you tell them and they feel it's needed. No BS. I was never made to feel like a mechanical idiot by Chet (although I am), and he is interested in seeing that a customer understands what was done, why and that they are satisfied. Being a male, I have never observed how women are treated there, but I'd be surprised if it were any different.

Chet does all kinds of work from routine repairs to custom work. He will go the extra mile to save his customers money. He will make the extra effort to repair rather than remove and replace.

Chet always goes out of his way to save me money on repair costs without sacrificing quality of parts and workmanship. Accommodating in unexpected emergency repairs. After repairs, Chet insists on showing the replaced parts to the customer and explains exactly what was done and why and points out repairs that, while not necessary now, should be watched for the future. Before I buy any car, I ask for Chet's advice and he will personally inspect any used car before I make an offer.
