Tech lube really only does oil changes, filter changes, fluid replacements, and things of that sort (so they're not actually a full-service repair shop), but I wanted to spread the word about them anyway. The company is owned by two brothers (I've only met one of them, Verne Rentel), and they have three locations in Massachusetts: Dorchester, Brockton, and Abington. Verne is a great, down- to-earth guy who really cares about helping his customers. Though I only go there for oil changes, he always lets me know if there are other problems with my car. Most recently, Verne noticed an oil leak and told me exactly what part I needed and how much it should cost. He warned me that if I was charged more anywhere, it was a scam. As a young woman without much auto knowhow, I really appreciated the time Verne took to explain things to me and help me save money. To top it all off, he gave me a bunch of coupons to share with my coworkers. His kindness and honesty really brightened my day.
