The people at this shop diagnosed and fixed an air conditioning problem on the first try that a toyota dealer had tried twice to fix. On other repairs they have told me what they thought was wrong and then called to confirm and explain options and prices. Kinda cool

I don't really know about the treating male and female customers the same or screwing something up because they havn't screwed anything up yet. Good guys that explain the problem and all possible repair options including cost/benefit info

they've always been great about repairs, coming in under expected costs, and on time. i've sent friends to them and they also had good experiences.

I just took my Honda Civic in for routine maintenance (timing belt, water pump, transmission flush, valve adjustment). I had changed my appoinment and the paperwork got lost so they weren't expecting me, but they gave me a loaner car and did all of the work the same day anyway. The price was hundreds less than others had quoted and the car runs great. My only complaint is that they didn't call to tell me that it was ready as they said that they would.

My name is lenny.I own the civic center honda and toyota specialist in winthrop.I would just like to say that i worked for steve Regan of Regans service for five years, and he was not only the kindest person to work for,he also ran the best repair shop that i have ever had the pleasure to work at.the place is spotless and run very well.if it was'nt for him my shop may not have turned out as nice as it did.I learned alot from steve, and his mechanics are some of the best.Even though i have my own business,if someone near his area can't make it to my shop,or has a vehicle that i don't sevice,i send them to regans.Because i know steve and his staff will treat them right.if you live in his area and are looking for a very good honest repair shop,Regans service is the one.

As mentioned by others, I am most impressed by Regan's candidness about whether repairs are indeed necessary. I do a lot of work on my own cars, so I am usually suspicious of mechanics. Steve is very friendly, and is always willing to chat about car issues. He even says hi to me by name when I walk by the shop on my way to the supermarket. I thought I needed exhaust work on my car, and maybe a clutch, but they said it could wait without affecting safety. It's a nice surprise when a mechanic tells you to hold off on doing something you were prepared to do. When you do get something done, it is completed quickly for the price they quoted - no surprises when you pick up the car! The prices may not be the lowest in town, but you get what you pay for - quality, friendly, honest, competent. These are the only mechanics I trust to work on my cars. Everyone in my office uses them too, and reports the same experience.

I have a 1992 Suburu and I took it to Regan's to determine if it could last another year or two. Steve was great about telling me what I needed to fix to keep it safe and what I didn't need to worry about. Other places I have taken it to always want to do several thousands of dollars of work on the car but not Regan's.
