Well, I used to go to this mechanic named Brian Roy from Roy's automotive here in town, but after about the 3rd time Brian screwed something up in my car I had to get the car towed. Since Brian doesn't have a tow truck, I called Bob at Bob's Precision. Not only did Bob fix my car the same day, he also didn't charge me for the tow, and he gave me a ride to my office after towing my car and delivered the car back to my office several hours later when it was done. I've used Bob for a bunch of repairs since then, and have been extremely happy with everything he's done. I even took my car in to replace the brakes and he called me and told me my headgasket was blown. He certainly could have replaced the brakes first and charged me for it, but instead he didn't even charge me for the 2 hours of diagnostics he did to test the headgasket. This guy is amazing!

The work was done well, problems were explained thoroughly, and the shop was clean. My only complaint is the amount of time required to procure parts. Waiting days for a part to be shipped seems like a long time, especially when other shops in the area have loaner/rental cars and will generally go to one of the many nearby parts stores the same day if the part is in stock.

I live across the street from Bob's, and Bob and his workers are always kind whenever I need help. They're almost as helpful as CarTalk. If my car won't start in the morning, I can just roll it across the street with their help, and they get right on it.
