The operation is well run, though not glitzy. There seem to be a lot of mechanics there, and work is always done on time. They are honest in telling you which jobs will be expensive, and could be done later, or need not be done at all. Perfect shop for a tightwad, like me, who wants to keep an old car running well cheaply!

I came into their auto repair garage after being advised by other shops to consult them about a problem. They made it known my car would be unsafe to drive, because of possible battery failure and at a late hour they worked at putting me safely back on the road. I was completely overwhelmed by their kindness and consideration of my circumstances. No where in the world have I come across the courtesy and quiet efficency I found at Broadmoor Garage. I was truly gratefull and when I relate this story, friends tell me similar tells of their caring and consideration and all speak with nothing but praise for their crew.

I've been using this garage for roughly 15 years and have had many opportunities to judge their work on quite a few cars, including some "antiques" (older than 25 years). While there may have been a few times that things didn't work out quite right, they were always willing to correct any problems. Also, they don't do work just because I ask them to...if the work (for example, a tune-up) really doesn't need to be done, they will let me know that I should wait. They are a little on the pricey side, but it is worth it to me to have an honest & reliable crew to deal with.

A very young mechanic who changed my oil at another shop informed me that my power steering pump needed to be replaced at a cost of $424.00. I decided to check Cartalk for recommended shops in my area before agreeing to have it done. The comments about Broadmoor were impressive, so I took my Chrysler minivan there. Randy at Broadmoor checked it out and determined the pump was serviceable. Best of all, there was no charge. It's refreshing to know there are decent people like Scotty and his crew in the auto repair business. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else.

The favorable impression formed on my first visit to Broadmoor Garage has been strongly reinforced in subsequent dealings. This is an excellent repair shop.

They did a what is really more of a body-work project. Replaced a side mirror that had run into a garage post. They're second generation and been in business 50 years. One of the owners, Steve Osborne, drove me back to the house then picked me up when the job was done. I'm happy, would go back and would recommend them to my friends.
