My 86 Isuzu pu'p would jolt and then die when I hit a bump. I went to different mechanics who tried different solutions, but weren't able to solve the problem. I went to Convient Oil Change for the first time and expressed my frustration at having work done (that may have needed to be done) but my car still being unreliable. Ronny (the mechanic/garage owner) proposed to try something, let me drive for a week or two, and if the problem was solved, I could pay him, if not, he would try something else. So Ronny cleaned out the carburator. I took a two week trip out West with no problems, and when I returned, I payed him. I was convinced he was both honest and competent. If he is busy and won't be able to work on your car right away, he tells you so you won't be without a car while it sits in the shop. He is good about returning it when he says he will. He also offers alternatives between new and used parts, brands, etc (when appropriate). And if he isn't sure what it causing a problem, HE ADMITS IT. Ronny discusses repairs with women with the same respect as he would a man. A lot of my female friends bring their cars to him for this reason. Honest, competent, dependable and respectful to female customers--what more could you want?
