Rear shocks on my 1994 Jaguar XJ6 went out. Jaguar dealer wanted $580 to replace on the rear shocks. Major Brands offered to replace all four with Monroe-Matics for $430. Told them to do it. Also instructed them to re-pack the front wheel bearings while they were at it. Got a bill for $370. Suggested they were making a mistake and shortchanging themselves. Asked why it was so cheap. They said:(1)shock replacement took less time than the "book" called for; (2) Monroe had a special on the shocks when they ordered them; (3) bearing re-pack took less time than the "book" recommended. Then told me if I was not happy with the Monroe's, bring it back and they would refund my money and we could look for another brand. They also did a wheel alignment on all four wheels for one-forth of what dealer wanted. They can work on my car any time.

The guys at Major Brands have been doing service and repairs on my vehicles for about 4 years. They have always treated me fairly. They tell me when I need something and they tell me when I don't. They go out of their way to find what you need. They are always willing to answer my questions. They are friendly, polite, honest, and just a nice bunch of guys. I feel that they are concerned about my safety. They will warn me if something on my car is getting in a dangerous condition (like brakes or tires, etc.) A couple of times they have replaced little things on my vehicles (like a missing lug bolt) without my telling them and they did it at no charge. I recommend them highly.
