Based on the positive comments I found here on Cars.com I took a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer I wanted to purchase to Stein Automotive for their opinion. The staff at the front desk were polite and very friendly, explaining all the items they evaluate, how long they would spend looking at the vehicle, and the cost. The car was dropped off at 10am and they called with their positive opinion at noon. Now comfortable with my plan to purchase the vehicle I authorized them to change the oil, and flush the radiator to add new antifreeze. They quoted me the exact cost for the additional services and called by 2pm to report the vehicle was ready. There were no surprises with the final bill and they provided a detailed list of the items they checked. I should mention that when I dropped off the car Stein Automotive offered me a ride home. The customer waiting area was clean and pleasent. When I do have problems with this Trailblazer it is definitely going to Stein Automotive!

These guys may not be the cheapest in town, but unlike the dealer that isn't cheap either, they can actually fix my car. I don't get the run around, they're glad to see me, they keep my car's info. It's a "you get what you pay for thing." I even get a ride home in a new Beetle.

This shop actually found me! I left work one day to find a postcard under my wiper letting me know that they have certified mechanics that could work on my Mini Cooper, the postcard had several useful (no strings attached) coupons on it as well as all of their contact infomation. I was nervous at first because I've seen the neighborhood the place was in and the cars in their lot so I was scared that they might overcharge me or be kind of stuck up, especially being a woman having your car worked on can sometimes be intimidated. I had an awesome experience there! I didn't feel like I was treated any differently than anyone else that would have walked through the doors and I didn't feel like a newcomer in the shop... the guy at the front counter greeted me and actually talked to me about how I felt about my car before we did any paperwork or anything. I give this place two thumbs up and will def. go back!
