I'm an older female and the managers and mechanics at this Meineke shop have always treated me with respect and listened intelligently when I would explain what needed to be done on our cars. Bill is no longer there (I think he's at the Bardstown Road location) but the new manager and his assistants are very accommodating. They have also not charged us several times for minor things (gas cap not tightened enough and making the check engine light come on, windshield wiper container leaking requiring just a new washer). In the gas cap situation, they hooked the car up to the diagnostic computer (a usual charge of around $80), found out what the problem was and then refused to charge us since it was a minor thing easily fixed. I was most impressed with these things as other less honest mechanics at other places had tricked me several times. I highly recommend them to all of my friends because of their honesty and the quality work performed on our cars. If they can't do the repair, they recommend someone who can. The neighborhood is fine during their working hours as it is on a major street but I wouldn't hang out there late at night.
