Bobby at B&W has done performance work, and routine maintenance on my 1998 Jeep Wrangler and repairs on my girlfriend's 96 Dodge Neon. He always gives an accurate estimate, and keeps you informed of any changes that may occur. His final price has always came in at or below his estimate. I feel that I can trust his judgement when he diagnoses a problem or gives advice. I whole-heartedly reccomend B&W Automotive for having automotive repair work done. Give them a call at 859-278-3038. I will be moving out of the area soon, and will no longer be able to have B&W work on my vehicles, but hope that I can refer others to them because I truly appreciate the help that they have provided.

B&W has been fixing our cars for about 5 years. Over this time the fleet has included Chrysler Minivans, Full size chevy vans, miata, Subaru WRX. They find the real problem (not just replace parts) and fix it right. I don't recall having to take anything back to them which I appreciate. They do a great job of explaining options and making recommendations. Also they will tell you if your problem is something they can not fix and send you to a good alternative. They are on the SW side of Lexington, but we drive across town for their good service. I highly recommend them. Jeff Norton

Mr. Bobby Wood is an excellent mechanic who owns and operates the shop (and his wife also helps run the office). I am a female graduate student with little knowledge about cars and am always concerned when something goes wrong with my car due to fear I'll get ripped-off by dishonest mechanics (based on many past experiences)-with Mr. Wood you NEVER have to worry about that issue. I trust Mr. Wood with any diagnosis and recommendation he makes regarding my car. For example, I just had a water leak inside my car coming from the air conditioning system and had it looked at by another mechanic when I was out of town. The out-of- town mechanic told me the collection pan was cracked open and that it would have to be replaced for about $275. I chose to wait until I could ask Mr. Wood to look at it. Mr. Wood found that a hose was simply clogged, he cleaned it out and only charged $70 labor (that also included an oil change and complete safety check of hoses/belts/fluid levels etc.). I highly recommend Mr. Wood's shop to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and competent mechanic.
