I take all of my family's cars and trailers to this shop for simple repairs for almost 8 years. They are inexpensive, honest, and stick with the job until you are happy. They have even on two occassions sent me to a different shop (once an electrical shop, and once to the dealership) because they felt it was in my car's best interest--turning down money is a indicication of honesty. They also on another occassion sent me to the Chevy dealer for a diagnosis (because they were trying to decide between two very expensive parts) and then fixed the problem for almost half the dealer's quote. Also, the shop is about a block from my work so that makes it very convenient!

Crooks. Labor cost above based on the creative accounting on the bill. To change front brake pads and do a routine tune-up they attempted to charge over $600. Of that $120 was just for the plugs, and they were cheap plugs. When confronted with the fact that they were unashamedly attempting to gouge a woman, we were able to get them to reduce the bill, but not without a fight and explicityly pointing out that they were charging $30 each for plugs that cost closer to $3 at the parts store, in addition to the other problems with the bill. Will NEVER give them any more business. Would sooner leave my car to rot on the side of the road.
