Owner Mike Winebrenner is easily the most honest and competent repair guy I've ever met. My '86 944 turbo is "special needs", as in, after 16 years all the rubber parts of the car begin to fail. Seals & o rings in the engine, window seals, on and on. Mike finds the problem with amazing accuracy. And fixes it w/o sending me to the poor house. Parts are expensive, but that's not his fault- and he's always willing to let me find a part cheaper from another supplier and have it sent to him. When you go to his shop you're as likely to see some high-strung Ferrari idling poorly in a bay as a s***box Toyota wheezing and coughing with Mike half-way into the engine compartment. He fixes them all. After my rear hatch glass seal deteriorated and created a very unpleasant sound of glass rubbing on metal, the repair was turned down by a couple glass shops as "not worth their time". Mike's the guy willing to fix it. He's an artist and a really decent guy. No, I'm not related to him; just very impressed.

Mike found and installed a used motor in a Subaru WRX. It was ready on deadline for an 800-mile trip. Flawless work for about 30 percent less than any other shop's estimate -- and most other shops were afraid to try.

My son had recomended Mike after he had used him on his EVO 8. I took my BMW M3 to have a different more agressive alignment done. After approaching others in the area and being told that they could not do it. Mike took the car played with the set up and came back with an alignment that was perfect for what I was doing. Plus the cost was inline with the other shops for a stock one. The man is good.
