Jim has always been completely honest, talking me out of repairs he thought I didn't need. His rates have always been reasonable and he does the job right the first time, on time.

Jim will actually tell you if you DON'T need a repair. "That brake noise is due to metallic pads, not because you need a brake job."

Jim will tell you when you don't need a repair, or to wait and what to look for. He once searched for a problem, couldn't find it, and did NOT charge! In 20 years, he's never given any bad advice. Not cheap, but worth it!

I bought a sports car in 1982, met Jim 6 months later, then married him 6 months after that. My Dad told me that he knew the main reason I married him was because he was an HONEST machanic and I loved cars! He was partially right!!!

Motorworks is the most reliable and trustworthy shop I have found, and would recommend Jim and his crew to anyone who has any type of car issue.
