Theswe guys won't even replace parts that I insist they replace! Honest and clear in their explainations; reasonably priced; worth every cent!

National Automotive is a very reliable honest place to take your car and have repair work done. They are honest and willing to tell you what the problem is up front and what the estimated price will be to fix the problem. There are no hidden fees and the people there care about whether or not the repair work is done correctly the first time. The owners are local and work in the shop so they have a vested interest in what kind of service customers receive. I highly recommend this establishment.

Well, they replaced my alternator in May, and I didn't drive the car all summer because I was out of the country. (My car is a 1991 Honda Civic DREAM!) When I came back and started driving it to work and back again, it started acting like the alternator was messing up again. This was in August. So I was really really mad and decided not to waste my time and take it straight to the dealer. (Big mistake.) I took it there, and they said, yep, it's your alternator alright, and we'll replace it for nearly $500. This after I had paid for an $80 electric diagnostic plus a tow to their place, now I was going to pay for ANOTHER tow to National. So I said, no WAY. I called Jim at National and told him what was up. He told me their work was guaranteed so I could take it in and they'd redo everything, no charge. I took it in, and he called me back the very next day early saying it was NOT the alternator OR the battery, but the little fuse box that sits on top of the positive battery cable that was pretty much completely corroded. They would charge me about $55 for parts and labor. How honest was that?????? So I called and talked to the manager of the stupid Honda dealer and explained my situation. They gave me back my $80 diagnostic fee(since the people who are supposedly SPECIALISTS at my car were dead wrong and wanted to overcharge me for something that wasn't even wrong with my car!) and the tow fee. I'm very very happy with National and would reccomend it to anyone. My mother, my husband and I all own Hondas, and that's the only place we take our cars. And as I'm writing this stunning review for National, I would also like to reccomend that NO ONE take their car to the Wichita Honda Dealer on Kellogg. This was not the first time they tried to screw me. They screwed my mom alreay a couple of times. She bought her car there, but now never goes there at all. So unless you want to lose a lot of money and get really really frustrated, don't take your car to the Honda Dealer. Take it to NATIONAL!!!!! And ask for Jim.
