I had a good experience with this shop when broken down with wheel bearing and transmission problems in a Geo Prizm. They seem to be honest and competent, they're not out to fleece an out of town customer when he's broken down away from home (I live in Overland Park, 65 miles from home.)

Two contacts: #1 My 98 Chev. Astro van began missing the day before leaving to drive 500 miles. My usual garage couldn't fit me in. I went to Huntington Park and they found a loose sparkplug wire but told me I badly needed a tuneup (about $150-180). They'd left the doghouse off ready to do it. I told them no, put the doghouse back on. (That was because I'd had it tuned up and sparkplugs replaced 30k miles earlier.) They were not happy with my decision and were curt. I made the trip (1,000 miles) and had my usual good, expected mpg. #2 I had a flat tire and put on the small spare. Went with my bike to Huntington Park, left it to be fixed and then later discovered they'd just set the spare in the back of the van rather than cranking it up. Since then, I've talked with others in the neighborhood who have had similar unsatisfactory experiences with them.

I appreciate they don't try to sell you everything but the kitchen sink.
