Pete and Ed repair ONLY the part that needs to be repaired. Their hourly rate is 2/3 the local DEALERS rates. They are honest to a fault.

I use this shop for all repairs to my Ford, Jeep, and other vehicles. I've had Pete repair what was said to be unrepairable, and never had further problems. They changed the motor in my truck in 1 Day! They even irritated me once, when they didn't replace something that I insisted was bad. They were right and saved me a bundle. This shop does it right and they do a large number of vehicles every day. I trust them completely!!! David Goostree BanjoBob@wamego.net

I have no reservation about entrusting all my auto work to Crocker's. If a repair or replacement can't be done at their garage, they will take the vehicle to the appropriate shop, bring it back and I pick it up from them. Convenient. Recently, I had a highway accident resulting in bent/broken rear struts and other damage. The insurance company was taking it's time and I was without transportation. I asked Crocker's to tow my car to their site to wait for the adjuster. Two hours later they called to tell me that they had assessed the damage and had already started to replace the damaged parts. I had my car back the same day. I notified my insurance agent that I wouldn't wait for the adjuster and when I told him that Crocker's had already fixed it, he authorized payment for the work as he was well acquainted with their work and reputation.

Tiny shop close to down town Topeka, also a full service gas stop - only 1 pump but surprised to even have that option these days. Crockers is a rare find - very cheap prices, fast, good work and they never fix anything not asked for. Finally a mechanic that I can trust call me with actual final price and be done on time. Absolutely at least half price of other shops. You won't find a fancy waiting room, tv, receptionist, or even air conditioning. You will find a mechanic to fix your car at a price that won't make you vomit. We had Crockers inspect our new car before buying and they went over every inch of the car explaining what we should look for. Once a new part they installed on our junker failed a week later - fixed it, no charge asap. Glad to find someone to work on our junker who understands - just fix enough to keep it running, and who can still work on new car as well.

Quickly inspected vehicle we were negotiating to buy: quick appointment, 20 minute inspection and charged me nothing! Told me that we needed immediate replacement of front tires and brake pades. Thanks Crockers!
