Good, honest and done right the first time. Sometimes they can be a touch slow, but most of the time this is due to waiting on parts. Have never had to go back and have them "re-fix" something.. They have an afterhours, secure key drop which is nice for those of us in the 9-5 world. They have a reasonable tow service as well. I recommend them frequently to all my friends with lousy cars

Osipik Automotive was recommended by a coworker. They worked on my 1986 Honda Accord many times and I was never disappointed. They've since worked on my 1986 Taurus and 1985 Dodge Dakota pickup. Honestly, I've never been disappointed. They always take the time to listen and they explain the options for repair including costs and pros and cons of fixing it right or fixing it cheap. I've learned that fixing it right is usually smarter. Osipik is a family run business. The father, mother and son work in the business. All three sometimes work the counter and the father and son spend most of their time in the shop. I've recommended them to family and friends and will continue to do so.

I was looking for a mechanic for my granddaughters car in Kansas as I was going their for a visit and wanted to have her car tuned up. I live in Colorado and being 600 miles away I didn't know the Kansas mechanic's. I took one from your recomended list & was very pleased with his work, his price and his timelyness in working on her car. She dropped it off the night before I arrived and it was ready for us to pick up the next day. She says it's running much better & is getting better gas milage. He also gave her some advice about not putting in to much oil. He'd had to take some out as it was 3/4 quarts to full. Almost as important as putting in to little. Good job!

Osipik has been the regular maintenance guys for my car over the last three years. Never had any problems so far, and I'm not certain about their pricing since I've never had to go elsewhere :) As for public transportation, there are a few bus routes close to their shop, so that's an option if you don't have/need a ride :).

They are great people and have been doing our major automotive work since 1992. They done transmissions, air conditioning, brakes, axles etc. for us on Buicks, Chryslers, Pontiacs, and Toyotas always at fair prices and with excellent workmanship. They always explain and present options.

The owner of the shop contacted me after repair work and had realized that he had overcharged me a 1/2 hour of time on my bill, and wanted me to know he was sorry, and would immediately credit the bill. I would never have expected anyone to ever review the bill, or call me to give back a 1/2 hour of time that I had never realized should not be there. An honest, dependable, and well in demand auto mechanic in the Kansas City area.
