Pete Economo & his staff are great! They have letters from satisfied customers lining the wall. They are very reasonable - a big savings over dealer repair rates and specialty shop rates. If you're fairly close to the shop, they'll take you home or to work when you leave the car. My car has always been ready when they said it would be.

This is a great shop that has had my family's business for two decades. When I was a kid just starting to work on cars, I would stop by and borrow tools/get advice free of charge. Pete is no longer the owner, but little has changed. This is the shop to which many area shops send their transmission to be rebuilt, while taking their middle-man cut. Import/domestic/classics - they do it all. We recently had an intermittent electrical problem which left the battery dead. Valley replaced the battery after testing the entire charging system at it was the only component to fail. A week or so later, the new battery was dead. Turns out that the voltage regulator was working sporatically, the reason it passed initial tests and kept the car running for a week. Once they figured out the problem, they rebuilt the alternator free of charge. I've got a stack of simialr stories and many happy referals. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.
