I love Mr. Miller. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him and the shop he runs. I am originally from Ohio and it seems that every time I need to go home, I have car problems. Mr. Miller is always willing to work the car/s in to be serviced. In fact, the last time it was acting up before the trip, the guys looked at it and could not find a problem. Thinking that it might be the starter, they had me come to the shop, showed me where the starter was, and sent me off with one of their two foot long pry bars so I could bang the starter as needed. Last spring, on a Friday afternoon, I was going to Decatur, Il, because I had tickets to a play. Before I left town, the car overheated and I lumped my way to the shop. The guys stopped what they were doing, pulled the car into a bay and checked the radiator. It turns out the radiator slit and needed to be replaced. They ordered the part on Friday, just before 5, then drove me to the car rental place and had the car fixed by Tuesday afternoon so that I could pick it up after work. Probably five or six years ago, I had an accident. Miller Automotive was the first place I phoned. Mr. Miller sent someone to help me. I know he would like to keep the social services and counselling to a minimun, preferring to concentrate on auto mechanics but the point is that he is honest and compassionate and dedicated. He has integrity to spare. I have never been treated with anything but respect and consideration even when I come to the shop hopping up and down and waving my arms because something is wrong with one of my cars (usually associated with a teenage driver, but that belongs on another web site). I don't take my auto repair business anywhere but Miller Automotive.

Don Miller at Miller automotive is one of the most honest mechanics I've ever met. I've been patronizing him for the last 8 years and have not once had a problem with him or his staff. Always friendly, courteous, and VERY honest. They specialize in foreign cars, but they will do some work on domestics. Mine is a domestic and they did oil changes and simple work, but because I am a dedicated customer, when I needed serious work done, they made an exception and did it anyway. Highly, highly recommended.

Miller Automotive replaced the timing belt on my 1999 Hyundai for under $300. The two other places I called quoted me prices around $600. When I paid for the repair, the estimated price had not changed, and they explained the "check engine" fault. They were friendly and repaired everything as requested. The best part was the great price!

They clearly communicated what needed to be fixed on the car, and did so quickly and at a reasonable rate. We will definitely return to them in the future.

Good shop in Peoria. Reasonably priced and are willing to get you the low-cost fix as long as a stop gap until you can afford to really fix it or get a new vehicle.
