He's a straight-shooter - without pushing - wants you to understand what's going on. Good man.

Joeshayne is a great mechanic. Not the cheapest around but definantly worth the extra expense. (I know he charges enough so that there is no need for him to con his customers). Always tells me whats wrong, and what my options are straight up.

Joeshayne is honest, highly competent, and fair. He is especially good at used car inspections--you will pay around $80 or $90, but he is thorough to the max and will give you a detailed report. Even if you have an older car and don't want to put money into it, let him give it a once over and then you can take it to a cheaper mechanic to get the problems he finds fixed, or do it yourself. He is not inexpensive! If you have a good car, you can trust him 100% to do work. He is honest enough to tell you when you need to go to the dealer. He will not do half-assed work on your car just to make a buck.

This shop's slogan whould be you get what you pay for. Not cheap but worth it. Always gives a straight answer whether it's good news or bad. I'm male and know enough about cars to usually understand car illnesses but my female eldery neighbor who doesn't know much anything and he always treats her great and fairly. Wish my Mom had a mechanic like this in her town.
