I have been patronizing Forest Automotive for some years and have often recommended them to other drivers by saying I would push my van there rather than let someone else work on it. I mentioned this to Chuck, and he told me of an instance where a regular customer had his car towed from Iowa to Forest Park (Chicago) to have repairs made. They have always impressed me with their honesty and competence and I sincerely recommend them highly.

Scott at Forest Automotive saved me from selling my car. One mechanic wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars to do what he fixed by putting a new spark plug in.

The guys at Forest Automotive are straightforward high quality auto mechanics. They are always available to answer questions, address the small issues of a burned out bulb or replacement battery, and do the larger jobs correctly and quickly. I want to be able to trust someone with my vehicles, and they have never let me down through five different ones over the years. When the warranty runs out, I run over to Forest Automotive.

When my Saturn dealer told me the 2002 l300 would need a new steering system for $1500, I took it to Scott. He looked it over and said it was a scam, and the steering was fine. I popped for corned beef sandwiches for lunch for the entire crew. A saving of 1430 bucks, these guys are top notch.
