I have used this shop for about two and one half years now on a variety of new and used cars. I have always found them to be not only courteous but very knowledgable (especially on Dodge Caravans). They seem to keep up on recalls and will direct me to the dealer is there is one. They will tell me not to do something because it is unnecessary for the car in question in the situation in question. Most importantly they stand behind the work they do. If it is not done right or the part was bad they will take care of it. I've also checked out what they tell me with others and have never found that I've been told something that is not true. Knowledge, competency and honesty; what more could one want? It's like having my own personal Click and Clack next door.

I have used this shop for about two and one-half years now on a variety of new and used cars and a variety of problems. They are very knowledgeable about cars in general (especially about Dodge Caravans). Andy keeps up on recalls and will direct me to the dealer if my problem is subject of a recall or is best handled by the dealer. He will also tell me that a particular car in a particular situation does not need a particular repair. In other words "if the rattle doesn't bother you don't fix it. Its ok for what you will be doing." He will also say: "Get it done NOW" if that is necessary. I have checked what they tell me over the years and am very comfortable that they know what they are doing and now listen to their advice and comments without worry. They have another great strength, honesty and and an ethic to stand behind their work. On those rare occasions when something doesn't work right or a part put in turns out to be bad, they make it good. They will do any type of repair but some, such as automatic transmissions, are sent out. Personally, I do not worry about this because I feel that they will stand behind the work they send out just like it was their own. Therefore they have a personal stake in picking good service providers. These guys are honest, courteous and knowlegeable. What more could one ask for? It's like having my own personal Click and Clack next door. Its nice to be treated like a person not a mope, and, by a bunch of guys who know what they are doing! They are listed in Skokie but are actually on the EVanston Skokie border at Grawford Ave. and Golf Rd. There is a bus line that runs right to the trains in downtown Evanston.
