This is a two man operation of University of Chicago grads who changed professions to do what they really like: working on German cars. They are extremely honest and full of free information. They have lots of knowledge and answered my many questions about my 15 year old BMW. They are competent and I recommend them highly. Their labor rate is $80/hour, and they charge a little for parts, but they are still reasonable. Being a student however, I look for low prices, and I don't go to them for things I can get done cheaper at equally good shops or for things I can do myself. I still consider them my first or second choice for diagnosing BMW problems that general shops wouldn't have a clue about.

Tired of the exhorbitant regular maintenance and repair costs at the Audi dealership, so I decided to give Midwest Performance Cars a try. Very happy so far. They also have a VERY friendly large dog ....
