I have used them for many years. They are very honest and straight. The shop is spotless. Half a block from two different bus routes and a short walk to the el. The cost is the going rate but the workmanship is first class. If it makes no sense to fix your clunker, they will let you know.

I'm a woman, and when I went in and asked them to only change the spark plugs, I thought I would get a fight. They tried to persuade me into a bigger, more expensive tune-up, but finally said, OK. They didn't charge me much and I got my problem fixed! They are reasonable and honest, and won't try to tack on repairs you don't need.

We have had our 1995 Dodge Neon worked on several times, and they always treat our very old car like it matters! They have provided honest assessments of what work was mandatory, and what could wait. They try to fix things before replacing them (brake stuff) and lived into their commitment! I have no hesitation taking my car there, and have called them for referrals to body shops (they don't do body work). Very nice, fair, articulate fellows.

I am a woman and am often wary of trying out new mechanics. This shop was recommended to me by a friend who is a total motorhead. They were honest, friendly and took care of my car right away. The price was definately reasonable too. I recommended the shop to another friend right after my great experience. She said they also treated her extremely well and that she thought she had a new mechanic!

I found Tom's (and Joe's) shop on this site and he was pleasantly surprised to learn that he was listed and checked out the site immediately. The shop has clearly been there for years and is not only beautiful but very well maintained. I only went in for a tune-up and oil change but had some other items that needed looking at. Tom did a timely job and explained every thing to me. I found him to be very personable and am quite pleased to know that I've finally found a mechanic in the neighborhood. I am also confident that should my Wife bring the car in that Pamela will receive the same level of service. I will recommend his service to all my neighbors and certainly see him for any further repairs, adjustments or advice regarding my vehicle.

Have been going to Rite Way for years, it is a neighborhood place. Always very neat and clean and everyone is friendly and helpful. They seem to enjoy their work. I have a 1990 Ford Econoline conversion van and a 1995 Aerostar.
