The repair ticket did not accurately reflect the work they did on my vehicle. The mechanic adjusted the timing (35 degrees?...is this possible?) & returned the car running much more poorly than when I brought the car in (for oil & filter change, and check timing & plugs). Car now stalls on start-up, so presumably the shop knew this before they sent me on my merry way...of course, I had to return. Then the shop denied causing the stalling problem! They offered to adjust the timing back to whence it came, but will not commit to doing anything else (and will not admit to adjusting anything else in the first place). Admittedly, this is an old vehicle (1973 280C), but it ran great before All Mercedes touched it.

This is hands down the best mechanic in the city. He only works on foreign cars. Once when I was working out of town for a few months, my uncle had my car and it broke down in front of the mechanics shop. John (the owner) recognized my car and would not let my uncle try to drive it anywhere. He moved it in the lot and called me.

I was recomended here 5 years ago from another mechanic E & J Service one block away (who came highly recomended) cause at E & J they only work on American Cars... This Shop (autosprit) only works on foreign cars. It's not close to me but another mechanic screwed up my timming belt timming on a replacement. John at autosprint fixed it. since then I have always brought my tough problems to them and they are not the cheapest but like I said they get the job done right and on time. Even though they always have several very expensive sport cars they are working on they always take time with me and explain everything. Once John told me that a computor part that would cost 800.00 to replace was casueing the engine light to go on and was too expensive. he told me it's ok to drive and get it at a junk yard. Which I did for 75.00 he put it on with no quams and it's been great for 2 years... Friendly and honest!
