Upon driving up to this shop they immediately stopped what they were doing, put my car up on the lift and diagnosed the problem. 30 minutes and $90 later, I drove out of there with a new catalytic converter and a five year warranty. Quick, reasonable and to the point. That's all I ask for and that's what I got. Had I gone to a franchise, dealer or mechanic that specializes in foreign cars, I would have been raped for the equivalent work.

Thier address is 2845 N. Belmont Chicago 60618, they have other shops but this is the one I go to. The cool thing about this place is they have a bunch of stock mufflers and stright pipes. They find the leak or defective part, and repair or replace only the rusted materials. Not like the big chains who tell you that the rest of the system will eventualy go and you should always replace the whole system. it is fun to watch these guys work, it is an assembly line aproach. One guy is cutting off the pipes or muffler while the other measures and bends a new pipe. A good place.
