This is a family business, and has been in the Beverly neighborhood for years, with lots of repeat business. The guys are really nice, honest - no kidding! - skillful, and can't stand to have a car problem they can't resolve.

I had my van to several garages and even the dealer but no one could find the problem. Two hours after I dropped it off at Thamm's Auto they diagnosed the problem and called me with a fair estimate. I should have gone there the first time. They explained what was wrong and fixed it. They have been in business for a long time and now I know why. They are friendly and honest. What more could you want?

I inherited my mother's 1989 Dodge Shadow, which Thamm's kept in great running order. Unfortunately, it failed the emmissions test. I knew it needed a new catalytic converter, but Dave advised that should not be done because it was too expensive. He tuned the engine and found a valve not operating properly. Cost was one-third the cost of the converter. The vehicle passed the test, proving me wrong and saving me a few hundred dollars. This was not the first time he did this while working on this vehicle. Thamm's is a hidden Gem in Beverly and they should be there forever.

I have had great service with these guys and have recommended them to my in-laws and any one else in the neighborhood. Great work for a great price. As they say, they do a Thamme good job!
