I've had good experience with the whole service department. The mechanics are well trained, and capable. Prices are not cheap, but the work is done right. I currently own a 2005 mazda6. Recently, the car seemed to exhibit strange shifting patterns. It was an intermittent thing, with no real reproducible pattern. The mechanic checked everything and even called Mazda. The company had no service bulletin on the symptoms and said I'd have to live with it. Two weeks later the mechanic told me another customer had a slightly different transmission problem, which was fixed by changing a transmission solenoid assemble. He ordered one for me and changed the component a couple of days later. Car works great now. Since the work was done under warranty, I asked how much it would have cost me if I had to pay. The service desk tech said it would have cost about $1,700. To me it all worked like it was supposed to. Thanks to the initiative of my local mechanic Jim Kirkpatrick.
