Phil has quickly determimed the root cause of problems with my air conditioning, brakes, water pumps, clutches and transmissions on several vehicles. Phil has been able to complete the repairs any item that I have taken to him within 1 day. Phil's honesty is the greatest!!! He evaluates the necessary repair and gives you a very fair estimate of the cost on routine items. He has done several major repair items for me along with regular routine maintenance items on several vehicles. The repair item that I remember the best was an air conditioning failure. That I was prepared for the replacement of an $800 compressor and then he told me that after testing the system it was only a eletrical relay that needed to be replaced at a fraction of my anticipated cost.

Phil is an extreemly honest mechanic. After having him work on several cars over the years I have a sincere confidence in his work and his integrity.

On every visit I have had an initial trouble shooting diagnosis of the problem on my car. The diagnisis gives me an idea how extensive of a repair will be necessary to return my car to safe working order. This is the best local shop that I have found to deal with in the community.

Phil is very knowledgable and friendly. He took time to explain the mechanics of the problem, gave me a price and stuck to it. I normally take my cars to dealerships but will use Phil in the future.

There hasn't been an update on Phil's Alignment in a couple of years, so let me simply say I was extremely pleased with the service I received from him. The two-year old tires on my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo were wearing very badly, so I drove it to his very clean shop (after reading the great reviews here at CarTalk). After hooking the vehicle up to the alignment equipment, Phil told me that I didn't need an alignment after all. (Apparantly the - admittedly inexpensive - tires were defective.) So he charged me a small alignment exam fee and sent me happily on my way. You can't help but trust a shop that tells you when you DON'T need to have service work done.
