They gave an estimate to do the front bearings. $600. Ended up being $1200, and 4 visits later, possibly a 5th coming up. First they said the drivers cv axle got damaged when they took off that bearing. Then they put on a cheap Autozone axle, and a terrible wobble was caused, that they apparently thought was okay. Then I called a subaru dealer (too far away, or I thought) the next day, and they suggested a new hub, but test the hub on the car. TO Haas couldn't do that. They replaced it, the next week, and still a bad wobble. Then put on a re-man subaru axle, that was $90 more than a Subaru dealer wanted (TO Haas charged $330, plus an extra $30 core charge b/c the original one on the car gone the week before), and it was better, but still a front vibration. And Now i'm stuck.
