I think Arcola Repair has outstanding service. The job is always done right and Bo is very honest with the customers. He also does service calls where he will come to your house or farm, to fix the problem right away if you can't bring it to his shop. He can fix almost anything,he specializes in AG equipment, air conditioning/heating,cars/trucks, and large Semis.

Owner/operator, Bo Fox, was a diesel mechanic in the Marine Corp. He helped keep my former 81' Honda Civic running till I sold it with almost 200,000 miles on it. He does maintenance work on my 92' Honda Accord. He keeps his Dad's 82' Chevy diesel running along with many other vehicles. He repairs everything from the biggest farm combines, four wheel drive tractors, down to lawnmowers. Customers bring him repair jobs that have stumped other mechanics, or that other mechanics haven't done correctly. The former local John Deere dealer hired a young man who worked some in Bo's shop. The first day on the job they told him they didn't want to hear how Bo would do a repair job. This young man was even gutsy enough to wear an "Arcola Repair" cap to work one day. This repair shop is located on a farm that has been in the family since 1878. Part of the house Bo and his family live in was orginally the harness shop his Great, Great Grandfather made harness in.

Bo has set the standard of customer service very high. He has gone above and beyond any repair shop I have ever dealt with - and I've lived in 7 states in some of the major cities of the US. I reluctantly have to occasionally rely upon a dealership to attend to a car problem, but still call Bo to run interference for me and to explain thoroughly what I need to ask and expect from anyone working on my car. He has saved me thousands of dollars, major vehicle headaches and treats all of his customers with respect and honesty. He runs his shop with integrity!
