Will do most any type of repair, but specializes in muffler, brakes and suspension. You will have a difficult time finding anyone more honest. I took a van in for new brakes because it had 90,000 miles and the right rear brake was making a scratching noise. They found the brakes were OK; it was a broken spring which they charged $7.50 to replace. A Toyota dealer quoted a friend $1000.00 for a brake repair; Midwest did it for $450.00.

I have had a problem with the ABS on my Ford van. Have had several other places try to figure out the problem. No luck until I took it to Midwest Muffler and they fixed it. I'm impressed!!

Jim at Midwest Muffler, has worked on my Toyota Tacoma since the warranty gave out. It's always in top condition. His prices are fair and reasonable. As a woman I feel I can take my truck in this shop and I'll get a good price for the work that needs to be done. I never feel as though I'm being taken advantage of because I don't know anything about cars. Jim explains everything to me before I pick up the truck and everything is always guaranteed.

Only in town for a couple of weeks, but had to prepare for a cross country trip and buy a new vehicle. I found a car I liked and brought it to them to have it checked out before I bought it. They fit me in the first day, did a thorough job and let me check out the undercarriage while it was still on the lift. There was a small bracket broken, and they offered to quickly weld it back on. The whole thing was free of charge! The shop is very clean, and the owner gave me some solid advice about our move including recommending a different shop down the street for getting a hitch attached. I was so impressed on that first visit that I immediately set up an appointment to have my other car checked out, too!
