Steve has been working on this car since it was owned by my mom. He and his staff are very respectful and throrough. My car has had an intermittent electrical problem for years and he has finally found the problem, after having hour other mechanics AND the dealer come up empty. He is also proactive when working with the extended warranty company. Steve will tell you the problem and try to find the most inexpensive way to get it done, including telling you how to do it yourself if you have the ability! He is most concerned with having his customres back on the road with a reliable car and a smile. I always take my car to him first. Tell him Lisa S. sent you!

The proprietor, Steve, has done several repairs on my 1998 Toyota Camry with 135K miles including replacing the alternator, starter, valve cover gasket and rack & pinion. He has also done work on a 2000 Honda Odyssey including replacing an alternator. Just like Tom and Ray, he listens to the symptoms carefully and asks good questions to diagnose the potential problem, then provides reasonable estimates for the cost and timeframe for the repair. I have found Steve's estimates to be reasonable and accurate and have come in way under dealer quotes. He only fixes what I came in for and is honest in identifying things that might need fixing later on but can wait. Bottom line is I trust Steve to fix my car right the first time and that his charges are reasonable. Windward Automotive Repair is just a block away from an Enterprise Rental Car office and on the city bus line.
