This is a family-run garage. Colin Hirata is the proprietor. His wife Dot handles paperwork assisted by her mother when needed. They have taken care of our 1989 Mazda 626 for at least ten years, always alert us to any problem. Colin replaced our altenator last year and when it failed a month later, cheerfully replaced it again at no charge. When we tried to pay him for his labor he refused to take it. Now that is service! We are only sorry that he cannot take care of our Prius, also.

I am filling this out a second time with an alternate email address because all my "agree strongly" answers are shown in the first one as :"not answered/don't know" The owner of this shop is a jewel. His name is Colin Hirata and if what he fixes breaks down, he fixes it again for free even if you try to pay him at least for his labor.

We had a limited amount of time for them to conduct the repairs. They got our car in, fixed it in one day, and were extremely pleasant and competent. In repairing our brakes, they discovered a nail in a tire which they fixed at no charge. They also noticed a bulge in the sidewall which they pointed out to us and encouraged us to pay attention to or replace. Our car has 217,00 miles on it and they were good about saving parts that didn't need to be replaced to reduce our bill. It was one of the best repair experiences I have ever had. They do their work with Aloha!
