Bob is really top notch. He takes pride in his work and rightfully so. He spend the time to explain to you exactly what the problems can be and will gladly put the car up on the rack and tell you what's wrong without charge. I had a loose heatshield along the exhaust system of a VW golf, and he tacked it down free of charge. Another place insisted on replacing the catalytic converter! When he left a pin too long after some brake work, he gladly remedied the problem and was very apologetic for missing it the first time. A truly human and humane mechanic!

When we first moved to Athens, this was our shop. The moving van rental company is housed in the same building, and they were some of the first people we met. We had always worked with the same mechanic, and he always did a great job. It turns out he left the garage, and I don't trust any of the other mechanics. The one time someone besides our regular guy worked on the car, he messed up our brakes badly. We won't be going to this shop anymore.
