If you're looking for honest mechanics that will do the absolute best work on your vehicle and treat you with respect and courtesy, you'll be very satisfied with these two. David Norton and John Wesley are the co-owners of the shop and work on the vehicles themselves. They take pride of their work and over the last five years that I've known them, I've never had any problems with any repairs. My 3 cars they've worked on were a '98 Chevy Lumina, a '97 VW Golf GTI, an '04 Ford Escape, a '98 Volvo 850 and an '04 S60 R. They've done from the mundane (such as screwing a couple of screws on a horn assembly to fix my horn which the dealer said I needed to replace altogether and wanted to charge me $250 for it) to the routine (all the recommended services) to major work (such as redoing my gasket seal, complete break overhaul, a/c repairs). They always take their time to explain the problem as well as the repair options and what kind of parts can be used. Just today they sent me to the Volvo dealership for a wheel ball bearing job that would be covered under warranty instead of doing it themselves. They even called the dealer themselves to ensure that the repair is covered under the warranty!!! They want customers for life and know that the only way to do that is to put their reputation on the line every time they work on someone's car. I'm a long-time Duluth resident that will be moving out of the state and I've been fretting over my ability to find someone as good as these guys in my new location. They're that good! Try them once for a simple oil change and you can draw your own conclusions.
