Quitman is a very small town (5000) located 15 miles wesst of I75 10 miles north of Florida. There is no public transportation, however, Mrs. Strickland will help you obtain transportation, and if within a reasonable distance will take you there. Labor costs are $35.00 per hour. Mr. Strickland is a rare breed. HONEST and competent. My brother in law, who lives in north Georgia, noticed a clicking noise in his 1995 Toyota Supra, the dealer, tolk him he would need a new cam, the car has two, cost $900.00. He told me of this problem during a visit and he agreed to my driving the car to Quitman. I explained the problem to Mr. Strickland, who requested that I leave the car overnight, to render it cold. I came the following morning and started the car for him while he listened to the clicking. His diagnosis was a fuel metering valve. He car now has 275,000 miles, no major repairs, certainly no new cams. The car does use one quart of oil per three thousand miles. ENJOY YOUR SHOW AND TRY NOT TO MISS. SOMETIMES I LISTEN ON SATURDAY AT 1000 AND MONDAY AT 1300.
