We love Max, he's worked repeatedly on our ageing Ford Taurus wagon and he treats us with respect, explains the issue to us and his prices are very reasonable. We intend to maintain a long relationship with his shop as long as he'll work on our cars.

Saw this place listed here, and after the nearby Meineke shop tried to steal $400 for replacing brake pads, I got them done here for $70. Very competent and friendly people. I'll be back.

We had the dealership tell us we needed a new A/C compressor ($700), we had a second rapair shop tell us that we needed a re-build compressor ($500), and then Max offered to replace the broken wire for 25 cents. Max is always honest, he will tell you what he can do, and when he can have it done by - and he's always been right. Max can figure out what'll take to make it safe, make it right and keep it in your budget. I recommend Max to everyone I know.

Since I am a shade tree mechanic I like to save money by repairing all that I can. However, sometimes it is difficult to diagnosis the problem. In this respect Max has freely given me a lot of helpful advice on many occasions.

I was referred to them by one of my customers. I have a 19 year old car that kept dying and I talked to/took my car to 3 other mechanics/businesses. They all told me I would have to replace the starter or other such stuff--without really listening to me OR looking at the car. The estimates were ($250.00-400.00). I took it to Max and his crew without an appointment and described the problem...they listened to me intently and got under the car immediately where they found the problem within a minute or two, which was a loose wire that they replaced in a about ten minutes and charged me $10 or $20 including labor-I do not remember exactly because it was so cheap; Since then, they have replaced some brakes and minor things that other mechanics had estimated 1 1/2-2 times more the cost of what Max and his crew charged. As a woman, I sometimes get talked to in a condensending or patronizing way, especially by mechanics, but Max is respectful and gives full, understandable explanations, options and suggestions.

Many times Max and Jim have help me determine a problem with one of my four old cars and given advice on how to repair it myself and not charged me. Great guys!!!!
