I took my car to someone else before taking it to Toyonly. I was about to drive from Atlanta to Seattle and was concerned; the car had 140,000 miles, the odometer had recently quit working, and I hadn't had routine maintenance. The other mechanic had just checked a few belts and tire pressure. Mike checked everything! Mike was professional and thorough. He found plenty to fix, but I didn't mind having the items fixed because I fully believed that they needed to be fixed and would make my car safer. By the time he'd spiffed the car up, I felt comfortable driving it 3400 miles. I wish he were in Seattle! I just found him (referred by a friend) and now need to find someone else.

Look - they sponsor Morning Edition; need I say more? I will. They are very good and honest. Not bad qualities in any profession. My car is a wreck. Rather than sock me for the over $1,000 that they could have, they suggested that I fix the more immediate problem (massive oil leak) and then, after another 3,000 miles come back and see if the car is worth doing the other $1,000 of work. The serviceman even took time to explain all the options and the plus and minuses of each. Try them out!

For 10 years I was a Honda owner and always used Gordon over at Far East Motorworks. Gordon, I my eyes, was the best mechanic in the universe... honest, talented, great work ethic, honest, detailed, honest. When I bought my Toyota 4Runner ('89) it took me 3 years to find a Toyota Mechanic who compared to Gordon (who only worked on Hondas.) Mike ranks up there with Gordon... if anyone has a Toyota in Atlanta and is the type of person who is willing to pay a bit more for the best quality, honest, and trust... then Toyonly in the place to be. Now if I could just find a mechanic again now that I'm out in San Francisco. Thanks for a safe trip and a purring truck, Mike (pulled a very heavy trailer over the Rockies with my litter 4 cyl 22RE with not a prob..... headed for 200k miles and kickin' it.) Howard

I found ToyOnly though this site and decided to take my newly purchased vehicle there for immediate service. They work on an appointment basis so you know that the day you drop off your car is the same day they start working on it (no dealer tricks of dropping off the one week and waiting till the following week for them to finally start work). The time for the service and actual serve done seems reasonable and my cursory glance showed nothing out of the ordinary (well, a dirty foot-print on my rubber floormat). I'd happily return for more service in the future if I weren't moving 3,000 miles away and gladly recomend this shop to anyone who's looking. The one 'low' mark (if you can call it that) was that no explination was offered of what exactly they did. But at the same time, I didn't ask and had them leave the car out front so I could pick it up after hours when noone was there to answer questions. The techs I spoke with seemed knowledgable enough and would probably have offered all the information had I asked.

I've been going to these guys for 7 years since I moved to the area and heard their sponsorship on the local NPR station. They no longer seem to sponsor the station, and the original guy Mike is no longer there, true; however, they are no less an exceedingly good shop. I trust them for their competence and honesty--they take great care of my car and of me!
