I had a problem with my 2005 Dodge Stratus. It wouldn't start in real hot weather after I drove it and it warmed all the way up. When I went to start it after it sat for an hour or two, it wouldn't start. I called the shop and spoke with the Service Manager, Charles Depp. He told me that even now, Chrysler hasn't fixed the vapor lock problem. He told me to remove the gas cap and wait a few minutes and then put it back on. The car started right up. I always remember this problem and how to fix it. Once while I was sitting in the waiting room of the shop, a couple came in and had the same problem with a Chrysler Sebering. Charles explained what caused the problem and how to fix it. As with me, he didn't charge them for the information. Later, I asked him about the couple's car problem and he said that they told him that fixed the problem. Consumer's is a good shop.
