The first repair shop wanted $250 just to diagnose exactly what was wrong with my transmission, and got in an argument with me when I wanted to take my car elsewhere.(Boyd's Transmission on Norwich St-stay away!!) Grady was always very nice and courteous, answered all my questions, and advised me of a special requirement of my car, to make sure the problem wouldn't happen again. He even helped me get the car towed from the first shop, and threw in the cost of the tow in the repair bill. The bill was exactly the same as the estimate. I highly recommend his shop.

I drive a late model Corvette & went to the local Chevy dealership to correct an automatic transmission problem I was experiencing. The dealership seemed disorganized and poorly managed when I left the vehicle, but I was new to town, & they said they had a tech trained with cCorvette. 2 days after they were supposed to call with an estimate, they weren't able to answer a question about the estimate. They were nice enough to call me back the same day. Disappointed with the level of followup & starting to doubt their ability to diagnose the problem, I listened to a friend & went to Grady's. I told them the problem, told him what the Chevy garage proposed and he had my car ready the next day! The charge was less than 15% of the dealership & that's been 4 years ago. I recommend Grady, Highly Honest, & will tell you if he is over his head with a job, (our Acura) he will recommend the dealership for repair.
