Years ago, after an un-named shop in Wildwood bunged up a brake job on my truck, Wildwood Tire guys did the job right and didn't skin me for it.. Since then I've given them other work, they've done me right, or MADE it right ASAP..As a consequence, I have a shop within walking distance of my house that I will not go to again EVER, but will drive 15 miles through traffic to Wildwood to have these guys do me right.

I pulled into the shop (with no appointment) with a nail in my tire. They pulled the car right in and had it fixed in five minutes. By the time I paid the bill, the car was fixed and I was on my way.

When I had my 35,000 checkup my Toyota dealer said I needed new front brakes and new tires. Went to Sumter Tire for the tires...asked them to check my brakes because I was told I needed them. He said you have 15k to 20k miles left on those brakes. Then said he could not sleep at night if he did what some other places do to customers and will not rip off his customers. I appreciate his homesty and will use them for all my future auto needs and send whomever I .can to them

I had a grinding noise in the front end (while on vacation in Florida)and had been told in New Hampshire that my ball joints were worn, and when replacement was needed, would cost $988.00. I took the Explorer to these folks, and they fixed it for $687.00 and gave me a loaner while the repairs were being made. I'm going back to Wildwood this winter, and if I need ANY work done on my vehicle, these are the folks I'm taking it to. It's really nice running into honest, competent people while away from my home stomping grounds.

They replaced all four of my tires with 100% credit after about a year, when they couldn't get them to balance so that there was no shimmy at 70MPH. It was my fault it took a year, but they replaced the Goodyear tires they had originally put on with a better Firestone tire, and gave me 100% credit for the Goodyear's. I'll never buy tires anywhere else - they made me a customer for life.
