I was vacationing in St. Augustine, FL driving my 1994 Suburban and my transmission was not working properly. Since my mechanic at home had just installed a rebuilt transmission, I was chapped. I could just see it now: 1) Vacationers with a faulty transmission 2) Stuck with not very many options 3)Lets stick them for all they can stand. Did not happen!!!!!!!!! They checked my car, told me that the overdrive was messed up, but it would be OK to drive it home (800 miles) if we didn't put it in overdrive. The mileage wouldn't be very good (Hey, its a Suburban, I know that already!),50 bucks please. What a relief!! An honest mechanic!!

I have lived in St. Augustine since 1993. They worked on my Mustang until it finally died with 306K miles. Numerous times they could have stuck it to me, and never did. From there they worked on my Intrepid until it was deemed to costly to fix, and it made it to 260K miles. My parents have had to use them when they were in town, no worries. They were having a transmission problem that only showed up after 2 hours of driving. They said they could not fix it if it was not broken. But said that it sounded like the tranny fluid was just old. So they changed out the fluid, and it ran like a champ. I could go on and on, but they are first rate, honest, and professional. Since I even recommended them to my Parents, how else could I convey my trust in them. I'm taking my wife's car there tonight.
