I found Randy at this site and stopped by to ask him about my brakes. I told him I had seen his shop on car talk and he was very surprized and flattered. He had no idea. He listened to my brake story and proceeded to explain all the hows and whys telling me what to do next, handled it, put my mind totally at ease. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to Randy who by the way is located at 2460 17th Street, Sarasota, FL.

Randy is probably the most competent brake specialist in the Sarasota area. When a lot of other mechanics in the area wanted to sell me new calipers for my car, Randy showed how not only were they in good condition but all they needed was a little grease. On top of that, he does a complete brake fluid flush on top of everything else for no extra cost. A top notch guy, and an honest mechanic.

I stayed in the bay throughout the entire repair process at Randy's invitation. He took the time to show me every part , how they were worn, and how the mechanism worked.

Randy explained that I only needed 1 repair (CV axle replaced), out of the 5 that another repair shop said I needed. He explained why, and charged much less for that repair. Randy is very friendly. He invited me to his office while he phoned for the correct part. Though the supplier ended up shipping the wrong part, he did not charge extra after attempting to put it on. I even offered, for his extra time. The actual part did arrive, and the repair went smooth. He did invite me to watch the repair. I should have taken the offer seriously (instead of going to the cafe). I could have learned more about my vehicle from him in the process.

They took me through step by step a previous bothched master cylinder replacement and documented all the failures or previous mechanic They gave me all the parts they replaced to document my case against the fraudulent previous repair shop
