My Mercury Grand Marquis went stone dead. AAA guy suggested this small shop close by so I had it towed there. Rather than keep the car overnight (or longer) Bill looked at it right away. He immediately determined that the battery cables were sitting in corroded connectors at the battery end. You couldn't see it without loosening the clamps, but there was rust inside of the clamps. Another garage could have told me anything and I would never have known the difference since I had the battery cables and terminals replaced 18 months ago while getting the car ready for our move from So. Cal. to Florida. Bill fixed the problem by trimming back the cables to expose fresh copper, and then wire brushing and putting some penetrating oil on the connectors. He charged me five dollars for the labor and fifteen dollars for "knowing how to find the problem". What a prince.

I have had my oil changed twice and tires rotated once at Bill's shop. Not only did he do those things, but he also checked all the belts and hoses, tire pressure, all fluids, and filled the windshield washer for no additional charge. He is reasonably priced. But the best part was....so that I didn't have to sit and wait for the service, he CAME TO MY HOUSE AND PICKED UP MY CAR, left his truck in my driveway, then returned my car when it was finished....FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Of course I gave him a tip, but it certainly wasn't expected. And he is such a great likeable guy. I agree that he is a prince!
