I have an older car with alot of miles, therefore I need some sort of repair a couple times a year. I used to pill wrenchs myself years ago, so I know when I'm being conned. These guys are very straight, and very down to earth, they don't try to dazzle you with high tech terms etc. I strongly reccomend this garage to anyone looking for a competent relaible mechanic. However this is not a ritzy ultra clean, operating room sterile environment. It is an actual garage, it smells like a garage, it looks like a garage, believe it or not it feels like a real garage. Nice people, good work. Try them, ask for Stuart, by the way I send my 80 year old mother there for her oil changes, and Stuart sends her away and tells her to come back in another couple months, when he doesn't feel she needs an oil change.

An honest, no nonsence kind of place. I brought in my car thinking there was something wrong with a bearing. Stuart looked it over and instead of charging me hundreds of dollars for a new one, he tells me my rear tires are worn unevenly. He does not sell tires, so he made no money from me, but he earned a loyal customer.

I went to New Jersey Auto with an unresolved problem with my 95 Ford Ranger. After trips to three other shops, two of which I had been using for years, I found out about Stu from the Car Talk website. The other shops were not able to figure out what was going on and when I stopped in to see Stuart having never been there before he had my truck in the bay in a few minutes and went right to work. It was not an easy fix and after a couple of hours I told Stu I'd leave the truck and he could call me when it was fixed. I spoke with him the next day with him telling me things were better but still not one hundred percent but he would not give up until my truck was fixed. Later on he called back with the good news, through perseverance he did figure out the problem and now a fourteen year old truck runs as well as the day I brought it home from the dealer. If you're in Broward County and need auto repairs, Stuart and his crew deserve a shot. Highly recommended. Enough said.
